I'm obviously not a doctor. Or a medical researcher.
But I do have ovaries.
Currently, there is no early screening test for ovarian cancer, meaning that 80% of women are not diagnosed until the cancer has already spread. If we can catch the cancer early, women have a much better chance of survival. This is why we need to raise money for research.
